Clos de Midi Chenin Blanc 2020 by Arnaud Lambert

Arnaud Lambert stands for classic Chenin Blancs from the Loire. The grapes come from 40-year-old vines that grow on calcareous clay and give the wine an almost captivating minerality. Lambert works without sulfur, ferments spontaneously and lets his wines mature on the lees, until they are ready. He also does not use malolactic acid reduction to obtain a crisp acidity that is wonderfully integrated and in no way overly present. The perfect start into the exciting world of Chenin Blancs, open the cork and go!
