Foam Vulkan Pet Nat 2022 from Meinklang

Foam Vulkan 2022 comes from vineyards at the foot of Somló, a small mountain on the Hungarian side of the winery planted with the indigenous grape varieties Harslevelü (known as Lindenblättriger in German) and Juhfark. The must is fermented spontaneously in stainless steel and then bottled directly without filtration or further addition of additives. As befits Petillant Naturel, the natural wine completes fermentation in the bottle - so be careful when opening it, it resembles volcanic activity. Light straw yellow in the glass with animating perlage, it smells of yellow fleshy fruit and delicate hints of meadow herbs. The Foam Vulkan Pet Nat 2022 is the perfect aperitivo for hot summer days.
