Name says it all. Ròza is a crowd-pleaser rosé: like a freshly squeezed strawberry-cherry mix with a never-ending drinking flow. Weightless. Hedonistic. Up on cloud nine.

Vinification

Ròza 2022 from Peter Nagyváradi

What hedonism. A juicy lightness in a straight line and yet multi-layered complexity. Ròza is made from 100% Blaufränkisch, a stimulating, light rosé that greets us with fresh raspberries, cherries and citrus fruits. The grapes come from two vineyards: Monoszló and Hegyestú, from limestone and basalt soils respectively. 1/3 is fermented as Maceration Carbonique, which provides plenty of fruit. 2/3 are pressed directly as whole bunches and then cuvéetiert and matured for 8 months in used Hungarian and French barriques. Roza 2022 is super inviting with an incredible drinking flow. No sign of wood flavour. Drink slightly chilled. Like all natural wines from Peter Nagyváradi, unfiltered and bottled without sulphur.
