Chardonnay En Billat 2018 from Domaine Ganevat

The 2018 Chardonnay En Billat is one of Ganevat's quieter, more delicate wines. 100% Chardonnay from a small parcel around Grusse and Saint Laurent La Roche, growing on chalky slate and marl soils. Citrusy with brioche and ripe apples, a Chardonnay that really activates. Careful hand harvesting with direct pressing, then aged for four years in used barrels. Like all natural wines from Domaine Ganevat, unfiltered and bottled without the addition of sulphur.
