Aurélien's unique plot – 100% Chardonnay, Brut Nature. Drinks like the finest silk, with ripe pears and acacia blossoms dancing in a seductive mousseaux. On the palate, yeasty brioche meets a hint of saltiness that lingers like a breath of sea air. This is the taste of the new Champagne.

Vinification

Les Terres Jaunes 2022 Champagne by Aurélien Lemaire

100% Chardonnay from old vines on limestone in Boursault in the Vallée de la Marne. The vineyards are cultivated using uncompromising biodynamic methods, with cover crops and a living ecosystem of vines, trees, and animals. Gently pressed, Aurelien always works with the direct juice from the press, unclarified, spontaneously fermented with the vineyards own yeasts. The wine is aged reductively and without frills in old barrels to preserve the pure energy of the grapes. Two years of bottle aging on the lees ensure complex depth and the finest mousseux. In the glass, Les Terres Jaunes 2022 is finely meshed, elegant and gently fruity – with beautiful tension and a vinous perlage. Brut Nature through and through. Like all of Aurélien Lemaires natural champagnes, Les Terres Jaunes 2022 is bottled unfiltered and without any added sulfur.
