"We love wines that convey emotion and origin. But a truly great wine brings even more - an additional, touching component that is difficult to put into words."

Meticulous craftsmanship and gentle ageing are top priorities at winery Kühn

The focus of the winemaking couple is clearly on the vineyard, which provides them with wonderful, healthy grape material. With careful and permanent care, perhaps even more ambitious than their father, Peter Bernhard and Viktoria pursue a very meticulous implementation of their biodynamic approach. In the cellar, of course, a similar approach prevails, the wines undergo a long and quiet ageing period with extended yeast contact in barrels.

Peter Bernhard allows the natural processes in the cellar to take their course and, if necessary, only intervenes using traditional, artisanal methods without resorting to pure cultured yeast or fining agents - because a healthy must finds its way on its own.
