"I make wines to enjoy - it's about conviviality and simplicity. You don't have to be a wine connoisseur - the main thing is enjoyment and pleasure!"

The black wine of Cahors as it has been known since the Middle Ages

Valerie Courregés has it all: after stations such as Château-Lafite in Bordeaux, Chile, California and Provence, she took over the technical management of a domaine in south-west France and then bought the Causse Maiusonneuve winery in Cahors. She was able to acquire 11 hectares with great potential and immediately started converting the old vineyards to organic and partly biodynamic cultivation.
