Pet Nat from the Jura, hurray! Like a ripe fruit basket with herbs, lots of mash overall, dark orange - seems wild at first, but totally unique in its own way due to the fine bubbles.

Vinification

Not in your Face Pet Nat 2020

Not in Your Face - but somehow it is? A Petillant Naturelfrom the Jura is rare, and the style is accordingly unique. Like the other wines, the Chardonnay Pet Nat comes from 0.7ha microplots in Montmalin, about 5 kilometres from Arbois. Maxim and Isabelle work strictly selectively by hand and crush the grapes directly. Long maceration time, which also explains the dark colour, we do love Dark Whites! An intense effervescence with ripe fruit aromatics and some graphite, in combination with the fine bubbles this is already very unique. Like all wines from Maxim Lannay and Isabelle Delahaye, bottled unfiltered and unsulphured. Extremely limited - 1 bottle per customer :)
