Vinification

Rigomale 2022 from Agricola Forestieri

Trebbiano with 4 months of skin contact in amphorae meets Directpress Malvasia, grown on sandy basalt and marl. The Rigomale 2022 is the vibrant fresh orange wine and comes into the glass with a moderate 11% Alc. - Attention, danger of rapid swallowing! Floral and aromatic, the Malvasia comes straight to us, the tannin from the Trebbiano then steers us in the right direction on the palate and provides structure. Vegetative with fennel, yellow fruits and lemons make an appearance. There is also a permaculture at the Forestieris, as the surrounding macchia makes itself felt in the wine as a delicate spiciness and freshness. Terroir! Boom! Tuscany doesn't have to taste lush and alcoholic. Monoculture was yesterday, Agricola Forestrieri is ushering in a new chapter. Like all Forestrieri natural wines, unfiltered and bottled with minimal added sulphur.
