Our take

Imagine: fragrant flower meadows, but with juicy red berries. Pink 3000 is what Schätzel has been working toward for over ten years: a natural wine through and through, with incredible drinkability and spice. Raspberry, a hint of herbs, a touch of yeast—and then it washes over you like an open window in June.

Vinification

Pink 3000 by Schätzel

100% Portugieser from biodynamically farmed vineyards on the Roter Hang in Nierstein. Jule and Kai Schätzel have created a wonderfully smooth rosé wine with the Pink 3000. The must underwent spontaneous fermentation and was aged in stainless steel tanks for up to 21 months. In the glass, Pink 3000 displays clear, spicy, and fragrant aromas: floral notes, red berries, and raspberry. On the palate, it’s juicy and easy to drink, with a slightly salty finish. Demeter-certified, unfiltered, and unsulfured.
