Tannin lovers take note, a dark structured wine par excellence. The tannins from the Cab. Sauvignon frame the spicy depth of the Cab. Franc. Leather, chocolate and ripe plums round off the profile.

Vinification

Tonton Rouge 2019 by Vincent Wallard

50% Cabernet Franc with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from Jacky Ripoche from Le Puy-Notre-Dame. The grapes were destemmed and fermented on the skins for 30 days, then matured in 500L foudre. The tannins from the Sauvignon are racy, while the spicy depth of the Franc rounds off the profile. A juicy yet powerful Loire Rouge. Like all natural wines from Vincent Wallard, bottled unfiltered and unsulphured.
