Doma 2019 from Naboso
Doma is a cuvée of Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, Roter Sylvaner & Roter Traminer with a total of 14 days of maceration before pressing. The wine is matured for one year in 500L acacia and oak barrels, followed by a further 2 years in the bottle until it has reached its full potential. Aromatically, this is reminiscent of Matassa's orange wines, with many hints of Mediterranean fruits and herbs. After some time in the glass, this develops more and more towards Earl Grey and camomile, stark stuff, totally alive and unique. In any case, a very universal food companion, whereby the wine rather sets the tone. Like all wines at Naboso, the Doma 2019 is bottled unfiltered and with minimal added sulphur.
