Vinification

Rotes Handgemenge 2019 from Wachter Wiesler

This wine is a prime example of an uncomplicated wine from Burgenland that nevertheless proudly conveys the darkly spicy terroir on which it grows. The blend consists of the local grape varieties Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt and was matured in steel without any contact of wood. On the nose we find dark cherries, some blackberry and raspberry. Quite light on its feet, immensely drinkable and a lot of fun - just twist and drink, best slightly chilled.
