Our take

2/3 Silvaner and 1/3 Riesling merge with ripe apples, lychee and complex herbal spice to create a multi-layered palate cinema! Super fine, lemony and with considerable length!

Vinification

Blanc 2023 from Carrousel de Tête

Coming from a mini parcel with loamy sand and gravel, 2/3 Silvaner and 1/3 Riesling are gently pressed with skin and stems with short mash contact and then matured for 12 months on the full lees in used barriques. Age of the vines approx. 35 years. The new 2023 Blanc vintage from Carrousel de Tête is wonderfully textured, constantly reveals new facets and seduces with fine herbal spice, ripe apples and a hint of lychee. A gripping mouthfeel and complex at the same time. The wine shows its true colors and gains finesse with longer caraffing - top!
