Our take

Finest Chenin Bubbles: aged on the lees for 21 months, this is ultra elegant with a very fine texture. Creamy pears, white apple blossom and lime peel glide over the tongue with a long finish.

Vinification

Bulles de Liv Gold Brut Nature 2022 by Liv Vincendeau

100% Chenin Blanc from 60-year-old vines on green and purple slate with crystalline quartz of volcanic origin. The Bulles de Liv Gold Brut Nature 2022 is finely balanced and super elegant. After the first fermentation, it is aged for 21 months on the lees in tufa caves in Saumur and is bottled without any further dosage - Brut Nature. Liv Vincendeau has been working organically from the outset and has been biodynamic since 2019. The Chenin Blanc Cremant is incredibly fine on the palate, the long yeast ageing pays off. A fine texture of creamy pears, the nose smells of white apple blossom and lime, and what a finish! Like all Liv Vincendeau wines, it is unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulphur.
