Leithaberg Rot 2018 by Lichtenberger González

This magnificent Blaufränkisch from old vines grows on limestone and comes from the Leithaberg mountains, one of the most important and largest DAC certified vineyards in Burgenland. Martin and Adriana Lichtenberger Gonzalez work with low yields and thereby try to preserve as much concentration as possible. The wine ages on lees in big oak with a subtle amountof new wood. The Blaufränkisch Leithaberg Rot 2018 is a true terroir ambassador, powerful and strong with charming cherries and salt in the finish.
