Vera Cruz 2018 by Luneau Papin
This Muscadet de Sévre et Maine shows itself as a true terroir ambassador and comes from a vineyard planted in 1974 in the village of Vallet, composed mainly of mica schist and where the grape variety Melon de Bourgogne grows. Aromatically, the Vera Cruz is very strikingly different from the other wines of the domaine, even if they were vinified in the same way. As with Le Verger, fermentation and aging take place in underground enameled vats until the wine is bottled in the spring without racking. We find a crystal clear minerality and animating acidity which, combined with the exotic fruits which feels wonderfully pleasant on the palate.
