The dancing lightweight in the Kaamen series. Super harmonious, finely woven and totally sexy. Mediterranean and mineral with a salty length - you can taste the sea.

Vinification

Kaamen I 2021 from Vinas Mora

Produced from approximately 50-year-old Babic bush vines from unique parcels. Yields are extremely low, but the fruit delivered is of the highest quality, producing an exceptional wine with intense fruit extract, without long extraction on the mash. The rugged terrain does not allow for mechanical tillage, so all cultivation is done by hand. After careful selection of the grapes, left on the skins for 4-5 days and spontaneously fermented in open vats. More than half of the wine is aged in fibreglass tanks, while the rest goes into neutral 500-litre oak barrels. The Kaamen I is bottled after one year without fining or filtration and with a very low dose of sulphur. The Kaamen I 2021 is a prancing and totally flattering wine with vibrant freshness, complexity and salty length. Unique!

"Wines from the sea" is the Croatian phrase surrounding the name Vinas Mora, a winegrowers' cooperative near Split, Primošten. On barren limestone rocks just a few meters above sea level, unique wines with vibrant, salty freshness are produced that compete with the best in the world.
