Vinification

Grillo Giardinello 2022 from Vino Lauria

100% Grillo, a true Sicilian local from Trapani, feels right at home on the calcareous soils of the Giardinello di Rapitalà parcel. This beautiful corner in Alcamo is high up on the hills, around 600 to 700 metres above sea level and with a lovely northern exposure. The grapes are macerated on the skins for about 24 hours to give the Grillo its fine tannins and structure. Then gently pressed and aged on the lees for six months before the Grillo Giardinello goes on sale. The nose smells of citrus fruits, lemon balm and nuances of grapefruit and lemon zest. The Grillo is finely spicy and refreshing, with a strong presence of citrus fruits - pure Sicily! A perfect companion for fans of Italian cuisine.
