Recommended drinking order:
1.) Manhart 2018, Loimer
The Kamptaler Burgundy Cuvée, reminiscent of a spring flower meadow and not lacking in exotic fruits. Delicate melting, immensely juicy and neat drinking flow, it could almost be glacier water.
2.) Morillon Muschelkalk 2019, Tement
Morillon is the southern Styrian term for Chardonnay, thus also the answer to the otherwise so fat international colleagues. Fresh minerality, some apples and roasted almonds with a finely meshed texture.
3.) Leithaberg Rot 2017, Lichtenberger Gonzalez
A depth like the Mariana Trench! With invitingly powerful extract and notes of essential oils, fine vanilla and flint, one can only fall for this - yet not massive - terroir ambassador. Perfectly ready to drink!
