Héraclite Sous Bois Premier Cru Brut Nature 2018 from Timotheé Stroebel

The Hèraclite Brut Nature 2018 by Timothée Stroebel is made from 100% Pinot Meunier from two plots with old vines (50 years +), located near Villers Allerand, a village classified as Premier Cru in the Montagne de Reims. The grapes were harvested in 2018; vinification took place without any interventions, and the wine evolved at its own pace. Spontaneous fermentation and malolactic acid reduction. Vinification and aging take place in large oak barrels. The wine is neither filtered nor cold-pressed. No dosage (0 g/l) - making it a Brut Nature - for this fascinating and atypical Champagne Blanc de Meuniers. Limited production of only 2,116 bottles. Like all natural wines and champagnes from Timothee Stroebel, it is unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulfites.
