Is organic wine really better?
Qualitatively speaking, definitely. Organic wine is made from grapes grown on organically farmed vineyards. This means that no chemical pesticides or fertilizers are used. Instead, natural methods such as compost and green manure are used to promote the health of the soil and the vines. Organic white wines are generally more expensive than conventionally produced red wines. This is because the cultivation of organic wine requires more effort and higher costs for the winegrowers.
