Vinification

Monoslou 2022 from Peter Nagyváradi

Monoslou is a single-varietal Blaufränkisch, known as Kékfrankos in Hungary. The grapes come from the single vineyard Monoszló, grown on limestone soils. Monoslou 2022 is fermented in Maceration Carbonique, which ensures plenty of fruit and juiciness. A wine of immense juiciness and drinkability, yet silky, elegant and finely balanced. Then matured for 11 months in used Austrian 500 litre barrels. Drink slightly chilled. Like all natural wines from Peter Nagyváradi, unfiltered and bottled without sulphur.
