Aromatic coup de grace: Scheurebe and Muskateller in a mash duet. As animating as it is juicy, yellow-fruited mojo in the form of lemon and orange peel with elderberry, it's summer baby!

Vinification

Orange 2022 from Carrousel de Tête

Coming from a small vineyard in Meckenheim in the Palatinate, a stone's throw from Deidesheim, the Orange consists of Scheurebe and Muskateller. The juice was extracted without pressing and left to macerate for 14 days. It was aged for 6 months in used barriques at the Seckingers. The new Orange 2022 from Carrousel de Tete is wonderfully animating, and this combination of aroma grape varieties and mash just fits perfectly. The orange wine of the summer, hedonistic but never kitschy. Juicy on the palate with a slight grip. Like all natural wines from Carrousel de Tete, unfiltered and bottled with a small addition of sulphur.
