Unlitro 2023 from Ampeleia

Putting a 1 liter bottle of wine on the table is a tradition in Italy and has become a symbol of conviviality. And this is exactly what Elisabetta Foradori, Giovanni Podini and Thomas Widmann want to achieve together with cellar master Marco Tait from Ampeleia. The Unlitro Toscana Rosso 2023 is the super delicate seduction from the Tuscan Maremma. The light red wine cuvée made from Alicante, Alicante Bouschet, Carignan, Mourvedre and Sangiovese almost floats over your palate and simply feels like liquid silk. The Demeter-certified grapes are fermented spontaneously and bottled unfiltered. No frills. A party wine with class and style? Definitely! Unlitro is best enjoyed slightly chilled and shared with friends.
