Les Peteurs Aligoté 2023 from Domaine Didon

We are in the Côte Chalonnais in the AOC Bouzeron, the southern extension of the Côte des Beaune. Les Peteurs comes not far from the legendary Les Vignes Blanches vineyard in Chassey-le-Camp, just behind the winery above the village. The 40-year-old vines grow on yellow limestone with clay deposits - a terroir that gives the Aligoté its powerful minerality and saltiness. Biodynamically farmed and meticulously harvested by hand, the grapes are pressed as whole bunches and then matured for 10 months in used wooden barrels. The result is a multi-layered, delicate Aligoté with depth and a perfectly integrated acid structure. Silky, lively and with an electrifying freshness - bottled unfiltered like all natural wines from Domaine Didon. This is what the new Burgundy tastes like!

In Chassey-le-Camp - in the only Aligoté appellation AOC Bouzeron - Naïma and David press vibrant Burgundy wines with enormous radiance at the historic Les Vignes Blanches vineyard. Their credo?
