Orchard meadow, flower garden, onion paradise: you name it! Fine tannins with ripe peaches and pears that are beguilingly inviting. With wonderful juiciness up into weightlessness.

Onion Paradise 2022 feat. Lukas Hammelmann from Carrousel de Tete

Lukas Hammelmann and Frederik von Carrousel de Tete as winemakers, Onion Paradise as the product of two visions: coming from a small vineyard in Meckenheim in the Palatinate, a stone's throw from Deidesheim, Onion Paradise 2022 consists of many grape varieties harvested as a mixed set and crushed together. Longer maceration with skins and stems, then gently pressed and matured for 18 months in tonneaux and partly in stainless steel. This combination of aromatic grape varieties and mash simply fits like a glove. Like all natural wines from Carrousel de Tête, unfiltered and bottled with a small addition of sulphur.
