Vinification

Stratos Weiss NV by Thomas Straka

With the Stratos Weiss, Straka primarily processes young vineyards of Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Riesling and Gelber Muskateller. The latter is responsible for the floral aromas. The Stratos grapes grow on crystalline slate soils, which are responsible for the slightly smoky, taut minerality. On the palate, we find juicy apples, tart pears and a delicate phenolic note from the skin contact. Playful, well-balanced and with a good drinking flow, Stratos is the perfect summer wine for every day. Like all of Thomas Straka's natural wines, it is bottled unfiltered with minimal added sulphur.
