This Goldmuskateller Orange wine makes everyone smile. Tropical in appearance, the wine develops with a little air in the direction of black tea and chamomile. Super rare and highly sought-after!

Vinification

Schwalbenschwanz 2022 by Andreas Tscheppe

100% Gold muscat on barren Opok soils. Related to the Gelber Muskateller, it probably originates from Italy and is still relatively new in Austria. Andreas Tscheppe farms uncompromisingly biodynamically and places great emphasis on biodiversity. The Schwalbenschwanz 2022 is fermented on the skins for 10 days and then matured in used 500-liter barrels. After 18 months on the lees, this wonderfully aromatic Muskateller is bottled as a light orange wine and makes wine lovers all over the world smile. There are hardly any quantities available and we are delighted to have obtained a few bottles. Like all of Andreas Tscheppe's natural wines, it is unfiltered and bottled with minimal addition of sulphur.
