Vinification

Naked White 2024 from Heinrich

The Naked White cuvée consists of 35% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Blanc and, in addition to 10% Welschriesling, 5 other grape varieties in small quantities. The wine comes from both sides of Lake Neusiedl: to the east from the gravelly Parndorfer Platte and to the west from the slopes of the Leithagebirge, on limestone and slate. Heinrich's vineyards are cultivated biodynamically, the grapes are carefully harvested by hand and the grape juice is left on the skins overnight. The wine is then matured for 14 months in large wooden barrels and bottled unfiltered and unsulphurized. The natural wine is fermented spontaneously and undergoes malolactic fermentation. The Naked White 2024 is a great introduction to the world of natural wines.
