Riesling Muschelkalk 2022 from Odinstal

The chalkiest wine from Odinstal! The vines grow on pure shell limestone, which gives the Riesling its razor-sharp precision and salty, chalky depth. Biodynamic cultivation, hand-picking and spontaneous fermentation are the order of the day. Wet stone, mussel shell, iodine notes and a hint of flint on the nose. Enormous pressure on the palate: lime, salted lemon and white pepper literally explode. Piquant, vital and with an acid kick that makes your eyes narrow. At the same time, the wine remains straightforward, clear and with a long, salty finish. Riesling with electrifying tension and cheeky energy. Like all natural wines from Odinstal, bottled unfiltered.
