Horizont has an intense herbal spiciness. Compared to the Popcorn, Herbert Zillinger allowed the Horizont 2023 to air a little, the nose is more reduced, more classic and not reductive. Ripe stone fruit notes, some apple and juicy pears. And then this minerality comes through again, awesome! A powerful, tight-knit Veltliner with a surprising lightness that is unparalleled in the Weinviertel. A vinophile expansion of horizons!
