Vinification

Majas Blanc 2021

Majas Blanc is composed of one quarter each of Chenin Blanc, Macabeu, Rolle, which is also known as Vermentino and Grenache Blanc. The vines, which are more than 35 years old, are rooted in limestone, clay and slate soil and this at 350-400m above sea level. Fermentation of the white cuvée is spontaneous in steel tanks with wild yeasts. With only a minimal addition of sulfur, the wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined.
