Aromatic stroke of genius: Scheurebe and Muscat in an aromatic mash duet. As animating as it is juicy, the Orange comes in the form of lemon and orange peel with elderberry, it's summer mojo!

Vinification

Orange -nv- from Carrousel de Tête

From a small vineyard in Meckenheim in the Palatinate, a stone's throw from Deidesheim, the Orange is made from the Scheurebe and Muskateller grape varieties. After 7 days of maceration on the skins and stems, the wine is gently pressed and matured for 6 months on the lees in steel and barriques at the Seckingers. The new Orange -nv- from Carrousel de Tete is wonderfully animating and this combination of flavours, grape varieties and mash simply fits perfectly. The orange wine of the summer, hedonistic and yet very balanced. Juicy on the palate with a slight grip. Like all natural wines from Carrousel de Tete, unfiltered and bottled with a small addition of sulphur.
