So delicate, so precise: a Unicorn Riesling from a mini-parcel directly from Deidesheim. Yellow-fruited with a fine herbal spiciness and a delicate melt that wraps itself around the tongue like a silk cloak. The finish? Infinite.

Vinification

Clos du Paradis 2021 Riesling feat. Seckinger from Carrousel de Tête

A collaboration between the Seckinger brothers and Frederik from Carrousel de Tete. 100% Riesling from a mini vineyard directly from Deidesheim, monopollage thus, an absolute unicorn wine, there is no more than one barrel. The old Riesling vines of the Clos du Paradis 2021 are carefully harvested by hand and crushed with hands and feet, gently pressed after 24 hours of maceration and aged in used barriques. This is so elegant, so fine, a picture-book Palatinate Riesling with this yellow-fruity aroma and taut minerality. It vibrates and animates. Extremely limited. Like all natural wines from Carrousel de Tete, unfiltered and bottled with a small amount of sulphur.
