Vinification

Cuvée Marguerite 2025 from Matassa

The Cuvée Marguerite 2025 - A flattering triad of Muscat d'Alexandrie, Macabeu and Muscat, from old vines on slate and marl soils. Fermented in 500 liter wooden barrels and matured on the fine lees for 3-4 months. The extremely reduced yield of only approx. 18 hectoliters produces fine, complex aromas and incomparable drinking pleasure. Tom Lubbe's biodynamic approach is reflected in a maximum alcohol content of 12%. The Cuvée Marguerite 2025 is like a Mediterranean flower meadow: flattering, multi-complex and blatantly elegant with a wonderful fresh pull on the palate - an orange wine par excellence. Like all natural wines from the Matassa winery, it is bottled unfiltered and unsulphurized.
