Juicy yellow flesh, vibrating with tension - Georg's Riesling is a real picture-book specimen. The new vintage has more finesse and focus. The Palatinate tastes young, fresh and full of energy.

Vinification

Riesling 2023 from Georg Lingenfelder

A year when everything in the Palatinate was just right. The Riesling was crushed with selective manual labor and with hands and feet, fermented spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts in used Palatinate barriques from the neighboring forest and left on the skins for about 4 days, racked after 18 months on the full lees and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur addition, resulting in a wonderful texture and a certain meatiness. The microclimate around Großkarlsbach is somewhat warmer than in other parts of the Palatinate and always lends the Rieslings in the region a certain yellow-fruity exoticism. A classic Palatinate representative that reflects its origins unadulterated. The young Palatinate tastes great on the palate with plenty of tension. Like all Natural wines from Georg Lingenfelder unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulphur.
