What an inviting, dark aromatic profile! Gewürztraminer seems tailor-made for orange wines. Caramel and orange peel soaked in black tea, Wow! On the palate, it's structured, delicate, with a subtly bitter tannin structure.

Gewürztraminer 2022 from Georg Lingenfelder

Georg’s dritter Jahrgang: 2022 war ein äußerst trockenes und heißes Jahr, dementsprechend mehr Frucht als 2021. Sie liefern auf jeden Fall alle richtig ab. Der Gewürztraminer 2022 stammt von einem 20 Jahre alten Weinberg und wurde nach 14 tägiger Maischestandzeit spontan mit weinbergseigenen Hefen im gebrauchten Pfälzer Barrique vom benachbarten Wald vergoren, nach ca. 12 monatigem Verbleib auf der Vollhefe abgestochen und unfiltriert mit minimaler Schwefelzugabe gefüllt - dadurch ergibt sich eine herrliche Textur und eine gewisse Fleischigkeit. Georg’s Gewürztraminer 2022 strahlt vor dunkler, einnehmender Aromatik, dennoch nie üppig und fordernd. Am Gaumen fein mit ordentlich Zug und feiner Gerbstoffstruktur, die so richtig aktiviert! Wie alle Naturweine von Georg Lingenfelder unfiltriert und mit minmal Schwefel abgefüllt.
