Apple and pear compote meets lemon zest and wild herbs - a Sylvaner with focus and depth. Fine tannins provide structure, citrusy grip brings tension and the delicately bitter finish lingers for a long time.

Vinification

Sylvaner 2023 from Georg Lingenfelder

A year when everything was just right in the Palatinate. The Sylvaner 2023 comes from a 30-35 year old vineyard and was fermented spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts in used Palatinate barriques from the neighboring forest, racked after approx. 18 months on the full lees and bottled unfiltered with minimal addition of sulfur - this results in a wonderful texture and a certain meatiness. Georg's Sylvaner 2023 is complex, deep and at the same time fresh with a fine herbal spiciness, juicy on the palate with a good pull that really activates! Like all Natural wines from Georg Lingenfelder unfiltered and bottled with minimal sulphur.
