Vinification

Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2022 from Francesco Cirelli

Francesco Cirelli is known for his red wines - and the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is therefore the entry-level wine that really packs a punch. The grapes grow on poor soils near the coast, the grapes are destemmed and macerated for 3 weeks in steel tanks. Fermentation naturally takes place spontaneously. A rustic, round Montepulciano from Abruzzo, with juicy cherries and plums, herbal and spicy aromas and something tart. That's a really good start! And wow, what a flow. This smooth Vino Rosso is best enjoyed with friends at dinner parties - no resistance to sipping and it's everybody's darling! After four months on the lees, like all natural wines from Francesco Cirelli unfiltered and bottled with little sulphur.
