Our take

Out of the dark, into the light! A direct-pressed Blaufränkisch white wine with quite some energy, it vibrates in the mouth. Citrus fruits and salt make an aromatic rendezvous.

Vinification

Blaufränkisch Into the Light 2023 from Heinrich

100% Blaufränkisch from the Leithaberg, which was vinified directly pressed as a white wine. The vines grow on limestone and slate. What a crazy combo, we have a grin on our faces. Certainly very exciting for all Jura fans. Gernot and Heike Heinrich ferment the Blanc de Noir must in large wooden barrels and amphorae, which is then allowed to rest on the lees for a year. In addition to animating citrus fruits, the Into the Light 2023 smells of jasmine and a little hay, and on the palate the mouth finally begins to vibrate. Like all of Heinrich's natural wines, it is bottled unfiltered.
