Our take

Like a summer night's dream on a tropical orchard. Loud, inviting bouquet of ripe fruits, incredibly concentrated on the palate with a good pull. Needs a bit of time in the glass :)

Vinification

Weißburgunder Leithaberg 2014 by Heinrich

Due to its origin from fossil-rich lime sandstone and slate soils, and the approximately thirty-year-old vines, the Weißburgunder Leithaberg is a profound terroir ambassador. The wine comes from plots named Kollern and Edelgraben in Breitenbrunn and on Alter Berg in Winden, on the eastern slopes of the Leitha Mountains. Under biodynamic cultivation, the grapes were harvested by hand in mid-September and the softly pressed grapes were left on the skins overnight. Aged for 19 months on its own lees in large oak barrels.
