Our take

Gamay from Beaujolais! Definitely a more complex wine from Patrick Bouju. Earthy, dark and with finely chiseled tannins, Super B is somewhat reminiscent of Metra's wines.

Vinification

Super B 2022 by Patrick Bouju

Super B - a single-varietal Gamay from various terroirs in the Beaujolais. The grapes are destemmed by hand and matured in the amphora after 14 days of maceration. On the palate, this is super fine and serious without losing any of its fun or drinkability. Patrick and Justine conjure up a perfectly carved tannin, so fine, so chiseled. Then there is this full and dark fruit aroma. Like all natural wines from Justine & Patrick Bouju, the Super B 2022 is naturally bottled unfiltered and unsulphurized.
