Vinification

Hirschenreyn 2023 by Herbert Zillinger

The Hirschenreyn vines come from a warmer site with northern exposure and grow on deep loess soils. Bottled unfiltered after a slow, one-year fermentation in large wooden barrels. On the palate, the Hirschenreyn 2023 is elegantly concentrated, but never stubborn or rebellious. Everything feels very vital, with a vibrant mineral touch on the tongue and a full length! Soft yellow fruits, lemon balm and a pinch of white pepper enrich the aroma. Be sure to decant! Herbert Zillinger conjures up the modern Weinviertler in the glass.
