Vinification

Terre de 3 2023 from Terra Vita Vinum

100% Chenin Blanc from the Rogeries, Grand Vau and Clos des Gabouchons vineyards in the Anjou Noir. The vines grow on volcanic rhyolite - also known as porphyry - and are cultivated biodynamically. The Terre de 3 impressed us and is our insider tip: a slightly creamy and salty Chenin style with brilliant reduction. And for little money. After slow pressing and spontaneous fermentation, the must is matured in steel tanks for 11 months. The amount of sulphur added varies depending on the vintage; Terre de 3 2023 was bottled with a small amount of sulphur. Like all natural wines from Terra Vita Vinum, Terre de 3 is bottled unfiltered.
