Vinification

Blaue Libelle 2022 by Andreas Tscheppe

100% Sauvignon Blanc from terraced vineyards that grow on the characteristic Opok soils. Andreas Tscheppe cultivates uncompromisingly biodynamically and places great emphasis on biodiversity. The Blaue Libelle 2022 is pressed directly and fermented spontaneously in used 500-liter barrels. After 18 months on the lees, this purist, sparse, mineral Sauvignon Blanc is bottled and makes wine lovers all over the world smile. What a unique style, completely different from other Styrian Sauvignons. Citrusy with a fine herbal spiciness, yet incredibly precise and fine, accompanied by a beautiful reduction. Like all of Andreas Tscheppe's natural wines, unfiltered and bottled with minimal addition of sulphur.
