Our take

Absolute crowd-pleaser rosé: like a freshly pressed strawberry-cherry mix with brilliant drinking flow and finely chiseled tannins. Weightless and hedonistic - like being on cloud nine.

Vinification

Ròza 2023 by Peter Nagyváradi

What a rosé hedonism. The juicy lightness meets ingenious tannin, it doesn't seem kitschy at all. Ròza is made from 100% Blaufränkisch, a stimulating, light rosé that greets us with fresh raspberries, cherries and fragrant citrus fruits. The grapes come from two vineyards: Monoszló and Hegyestú, both from limestone and basalt soils. 1/3 is fermented as Maceration Carbonique, which provides plenty of fruit. 2/3 are pressed directly as whole grapes and then cuvéetiert and matured for 8 months in used Hungarian and French barriques. Super inviting with incredible drinking flow. No sign of wood aroma. Like all of Peter Nagyváradi's natural wines, unfiltered and bottled without sulphur.
