Tres Cuartos 2022

Old Welschriesling vines on pure limestone. The Tres Cuartos is Adriana's heart project, which can be traced back to her Galician homeland, as many white wines are matured under flor yeast. Tres Cuartos means three quarters and refers to the amount of wine in the barrique. Due to the filling level, a layer of flor develops over the maturing wine over time, providing not only additional protection but also slight oxidative notes. A style that we know from the French Jura. The Tres Cuartos 2022 spends a total of 24 months on the lees before being bottled unfiltered. The aromas here are extremely complex: from yeasty notes to ripe quinces and herbs, including some lemon balm. The palate is incredibly precise and fine, the delicate phenolics create a beautiful tension, mineral and salty! A natural wine with enormous length and elegance. The Tres Cuartos is truly unique and has already put a broad grin on the faces of numerous sommeliers. Like all wines from Lichtenberger González unfiltered and bottled with minimal addition of sulphur.
